Spring Favourites

The weather in Bristol has been sooo beautiful this week! The sun has shown his lovely face every single day and at one point it was even hotter than it was in Spain - proper sunbathing material. Although I didn't catch the sun quite as much as I intended to (in fact, my shoulders just went a bit red really), I'm still feeling lovely and sunkissed - just more inside than out! Today I've decided to share some of my Spring favourites with you. Spring is one of my favourite seasons as it's such a fresh, pretty time of the year, and I wanted to share some things I've been loving this season!

1. Primark Sunglasses
It's finally time to wear some sunnies and, like every other girl, I have around seventy pairs scattered around my room. These round ones from Primark are my favourite pair at the moment though, and have been accompanying me to the park every single day. I love the leopard print detail and the soft, matte feel of the glasses.... and they only cost me £2! I think I might go back and buy another ten.

2. L'oreal Color Riche Les Blancs Nail Polish in shade 851
I first bought this nail polish around ten months ago on a family holiday in Menorca. I remember the joy I felt when walking into a little tourist shop and seeing a L'oreal counter at the back, full of lipsticks and nail polishes (I obviously stocked up on more than a few!). My favourite (and still favourite today) is shade 851 - I've repurchased it several times and have been loving it this Spring. The quality of the nail polish is really impressive and it doesn't chip for days. The colour is a super light lilac shade which has a lovely 'barely there' feel and fits in perfectly with the pastels of Spring.

3. Pandora Meditation Charm
Oscar bought me the gorgeous Meditation charm from Pandora a few weeks ago for our anniversary and I absolutely adore it. It's a happy little buddha who sits on my wrist smiling all day and I just looove him. I like to have Pandora charms that represent something special to me, so this charm is perfect as it represents the meditation and mindfulness that I have welcomed into my life this year.

4. Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Liner in Sweet Pink
Until recently I wasn't much of a lip liner girl - having fuller lips means I've never really felt the need to outline and exaggerate. Recently, however, I picked up this Maybelline lip liner (my first lip liner purchase, believe it or not!) in 'Sweet Pink' and have fallen in love. I didn't want anything too heavy or dark, so the 'Sweet Pink' shade is perfect as it's a light pinky-nude colour with a tiny hint of shimmer. I outline my lips with it, and then fill in with lipstick - it makes a lovely difference but is subtle for people like me who don't want anything too dark.

5. Yankee Candle Champaca Blossom Votive
Champaca Blossom always has and always will be my absolute favourite Yankee Candle. If you've been following my blog for a while you'll know that I am obsessed with Yankee Candles and have done quite the rounds with the fragrances. Champaca Blossom is a light, floral and 'girly' smell which is subtle but gorgeous. I've had Champaca Blossom burning all throughout Spring - it always reminds me of fresh flowers and delicate, flowery perfumes.

What have you been loving this Spring?
xx
