Feel Feminine in Fantasie!

Buying bras in a shop can be a pretty lengthy and annoying process. If you’re above the average bra sizes (A-D) like myself, you’ll know that often shops don’t sell or stock your size, you can’t get the pretty designs that are on smaller bras and sometimes you just have to pay more for a bigger bra. I stopped buying my bras from shops a while ago now and have been using online shopping for my bras for about a year – it’s simpler, quicker and much easier to see what’s actually on offer (I’ve spent endless amounts of time sifting through sale racks only to realise they don’t sell my size). So when the opportunity arose to work with Bras Galore, I jumped at the chance. A beautiful bra that fits perfectly sent straight to my doorstep? Yes please. Underwear shopping is something that I actually love - I firmly believe that the secret behind every successful woman is the pretty matching underwear she has on underneath (that and all the hard work she puts in!). Get rid of those people in life who say there's no point in spending money on underwear because no one sees it - invest in a good bra and wear it for yourself! Bras Galore offers all different kinds of underwear and lingerie, including bridal and wedding night lingerie, sports bras, nursing and maternity bras and nightwear. One of my favourite features on the website is the Bra Size Calculator which allows you to calculate your bra size in order to ensure you are wearing and buying the correct size. Wearing the right bra size and having the correct support is very important - wearing the wrong size can lead to back pain, rubbing and uncomfortableness.

The bra I chose, the Fantasie Susanna Side Support Bra in Antique Gold, is absolute beautiful. It's feminine, pretty, empowering, classy... all the adjectives you want to hear when discussing bras. Pretty lacy detail and thicker supportive straps - yes yes yes. Retailing at £43.00 on Bras Galore, the Fantasie Susanna bra is the perfect balance between looking light and pretty and being strong and supportive. The beautiful French lace with pink and ivory undertones is both delicate and sexy, completed perfectly with pretty little black bows on the apex and centre of the bra. The pretty, light material that covers the breast allows you to keep the natural shape of your breast (no pushing up, padding or re-shaping) and the luxurious lace trim on the neck-edge is the perfect finishing touch. The bra has easily adjustable straps and is super comfy - the lack of padding/boosting means it feels effortless and breathable. It's definitely my favourite bra right now!

  1. I'm lucky that my size is still within A-B so I can get cheap bras! I get them from Primark mainly and they're only about £4 which is amazing. I think I need to splash out on some decent ones soon though.

  2. Like you I have a harder time finding pretty bras in a larger size and right now I'm still in nursing bras making it worse (thankfully Bravissimo did a couple very pretty lace versions similar to the one you show above). But I will check out this site to see if they do pretty nursing bras as well.

  3. I much prefer buying my bras in person, but since I'm a B cup I can easily order them online if I've shopped there before. My favourite ones are the T-shirt bras with the lace band from Calvin Klein so I tend to bulk order these when they have a sale.

  4. I think decent lingerie is the staple of any outfit or feeling good about yourself. Personally, Boux Avenue is my favourite brand for this but I'll definitely be checking out Bras Galore after this x

  6. I always find bra shopping so hard, they seem to never have my size in stock - so online shopping for me is definitely better as I can quickly rule out what is and isn't in stock. x

  9. I don't like going lingerie shopping in an actual shop because of all the other people watching. I also prefer buying them online, without any stress.

  10. What a really clever idea the calculator is, I am sure it is really helpful to those who are too shy to go and ask to be measured!

  11. I can't really buy lingerie in physical shops. Not a big fan of it in the first place. But if ever I need to, I will definitely prefer to purchase online.

  13. I prefer the choice you have online but I do find that bras can look very different in person and I love feeling the quality. Lovely bra you've got there though x

  14. I prefer to buy in person as I can vary on back size depending where I shop - which can get annoying!

  17. Very sexy! I hate how expensive bras are but if this one both looks good and offers support then I suppose it is worth it!
