Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix Foundation

Hey beauties!
Happy Wednesday - I hope yours isn't as rainy and cold as mine has been!
I'm super excited to share my review on my favourite foundation with you guys. It took a while but I have finally found the perfect foundation for my skin. Yippee!

I'm such a pain with foundation because I am really fussy about what goes on my skin (not because I'm a diva, but because my skin is super sensitive). I've tried so many foundations over the years and never quite found the perfect one up until now. I went through a very long stage (about a year) of just wearing tinted moisturiser as I found foundation to be too heavy on my skin, causing me to break out in spots and suffer from dry skin. However recently I decided to give foundation another try as I found that tinted moisturiser often wore off easily and didn't give me the right coverage that I needed.
So, I treated myself to Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix Foundation which I picked up from Boots for £9.99.

I bought the foundation in shade 53 (light beige). The first thing that stood out to me about this foundation was the word 'healthy' and the little picture of fruit on the bottle. I mean, foundation that's healthy?! Gimme!
I headed over to the Bourjois website to find out more ( The website told me that Bourjois' Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix Foundation is 'enriched with a fruit therapy formula to enhance your complexion'. If that doesn't already make you want to buy it, then wait until you read this: the fruit therapy formula consists of apricot, melon and apple. Apricot is added for radiance, melon for hydration and apple to protect your youth. Need I say more?!

The appearance of the foundation is one of my favourite things about it. Firstly, I love the fact that it's a small glass bottle as I think they look so much nicer than plastic tubes and tubs. A girl must always think about what a beauty product will look like on their dressing table/in their makeup bag, right?

The design of the bottle is simple and classy with minimal writing and a running theme of red and silver.

In the past I have bought foundations that are fairly good on my skin, however I have been put off due to the smell. But here Bourjois have thought of everything - even the smell of the foundation. This is, by far, the nicest smelling foundation I have bought and it really does make a big difference. The smell is fresh and fruity , reflecting the foundation perfectly.
The texture of the foundation is almost silky - it glides onto the skin smoothly and effortlessly and provides good coverage. I found that the foundation evened out my skin tone, giving me an all-over glowing complexion. Ironically, the foundation actually made my skin feel and look healthier - it lightly covers spots, marks and bumps on the skin leaving you with a clear and healthy look. I found that the foundation blended easily into my skin and left no smudges or marks. My skin felt and looked like it absorbed the foundation meaning that although I had foundation on it was not obvious, I was just left looking radiant.

I think this foundation is perfect for me mainly because I have more dry skin than oily skin. I'm not sure if the foundation would be as good on oily skin but I would definitely say that its worth a try! The foundation is not thick and gloopy - it's thin and spreads easily which is one of the reasons that I think it's so good for dry skin.

It's definitely my favourite foundation by far!

Has anyone else tried this?
