Happy March. We are one step closer to spring! I cannot wait for spring as I will finally be able to ditch the big scarves and boots for pretty flats, denim jackets and (I'm so excited for this!) the pastels!!
My March so far has consisted of blue skies, a few treats from LUSH (standard!) and lots of coursework. I've got my uni interview on Wednesday which I'm excited and nervous about; I've been working towards it, so that's taking up a lot of my mind right now. However, I couldn't resist doing a 'February Favourites' post as I have some really lovely favourites this month!
February has been the month of hair and skincare products for me. I feel that winter has dried out my skin and hair so much this year - too much cold weather and central heating! So I got my hair trimmed, bought some haircare products and moisturisers and now we're into March and I'm feeling much better.

Got2b Guardian Angel Heat Protection Spray - The first thing that I have to say about this spray is that it smells amazing! Although I don't use too much heat on my hair (I've been trying not to, to reduce the dryness), when I do I like to use a heat protection spray. Got2b's Guardian Angel spray is perfect. It protects hair from heat up to 220°C and leaves hair smooth and shiny when used before straightening. I apply it to towel-dried hair and then let it do it's magic.
Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser - This month I have been big on moisturiser. Simple's hydrating light moisturiser is my absolute favourite daytime moisturiser as it is so delicate, gentle and light. The cream rubs in easily and smoothly, and doesn't leave your face looking shiny or wet. It works wonders on my skin and always hydrates when looking/feeling dull.

L'oreal Elvive Smooth-Intense Anti-Frizz Shampoo - Another product that smells absolutely delicious, this has been THE shampoo of the month for me. Enriched with Moroccan argan oil and thermo-protect, this shampoo is designed to nourish hair and calm frizz, while protecting hair from humidity, static and flyaways. It does exactly this and leaves my hair feeling and smelling amazing. I definitely recommend.
Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Hand Cream (link no longer active) - Winter has left my hands feeling so dry and dull, I really needed a good hand cream to soften them up again. Jergens Ultra Healing Hand Cream leaves hands feeling soft and nourished, without that greasy hand cream feeling. My favourite part about this cream is that I picked it up from Superdrug for just 35p - what a steal! It's over £3 in Boots so I'm so happy that I picked up this absolute bargain. It's also the perfect size to pop into my handbag!
Barry M Nail Paint Cappuccino - Barry M's Cappuccino Nail Paint has been the shade of the month for me. The soft statement colour compliments any outfit and is the perfect shade for the in-between-winter-and-spring stage. I adore it!

I want to start getting into the habit of straightening my hair once in a while, so the Got2b Guardian Angel Heat Protection Spray would be perfect! I even love the adorable packaging and name! Thank you for the suggestion and what a great variety of monthly favorites! :)
ReplyDeleteNo problem - I strongly recommend! My favourite thing about it is the smell. The overall protection is fab too :)

The outdoor cold and the indoor heat are killing my skin also. I'm always so itchy. I use Eucerin, but the medicinal smell of it turns me off. I will look into that Jergens lotion.

I would definitely try Jergens hand cream! You should try and pick it up in Superdrug too - I found it a lot cheaper. :)
DeleteI love that barry M colour its one of my favourites!
